About the Event
BGDL is using the 1st week of August to highlight 5/6 of the Historically Black Law Schools (HBLS). The 5 schools include UDC (8/4), NCCU (8/5), SULC (8/6), TMSL (8/7), and FAMU (8/8).
Each panel event features: 2 current legal queens (1) rising 2L and (1) rising 3L, as well as (2) recent graduates (2017-2021). From 6-6:30, I will share information re: the school and each panelist will introduce themselves. From 6:30-7:00, each panelist will answer prompted questions presented by the moderator, BGDL's founder, Destiny. From 7:00-7:50, the attendees will then have the opportunity to ask the panelist questions.
Each event is $10 OR you can register HERE for all 5 events for $30. 25-50% of the ticket proceeds will be gifted to one of the registrants. You need not be present to win.
The 6th HBLS is HUSL (Howard Law). HUSL is NOT included in HBLS week, because a HUSL panel was hosted on July 25, 2020. You can gain access to HUSL recording via the BGDL File Library HERE for $30 or by purchasing the recording of the event HERE for $10.
ALL registrants will receive a video link of the event. So, even if you are unavailable to attend the event, you will still receive a link to watch the video at a later date.
