About the Event

(Don't forget that up to 50% of the ticket proceeds will be gifted to 1-3 legal queens who attend the entire event to aid them in the attorney journey).

If you are an aspiring law student, rising 1L, current 1L, or even a current 2L and you've found yourself asking some of the questions below, then this Zoom webinar event is perfect for you!

"What bar statistics should I consider when choosing a law school to attend?"

"Do I NEED to take the bar? What's this talk about diploma privilege?"

"I heard my state is a UBE jurisdiction. What in the world is the UBE?"

"I was told that I also have to take the MPRE. Is that another type of bar exam?"

"What are the different components of the bar?"

"Should I attend a law school in a jurisdiction that I don't plan to practice in?"

When I was a 1L, one of my classmates asked me what bar I had planned to take after we graduated. When I replied,  "North Carolina," she then asked me if North Carolina was a UBE jurisdiction. I replied yes (and at the time it was NOT! LOL), however, I had NO idea! When you are thinking about starting law school or even enrolled in your fist year of law school, the bar exam seems so far away. You don't know what you don't know! And you may not want to ask questions out of fear of sounding dumb.

I know that BGDL has followers ALL OVER THE US. I don't want to JUST talk about the UBE or only discuss a few of the most popular jurisdictions. Therefore, I did some hardcore research to compile hella information for you guys so that you are well informed!
